Motorcycle accident in New Hampshire leads to injuries

A motorcycle accident can be deadly, but for some victims, their injuries, while substantial, don't result in their deaths. However, the medical expenses can be astronomical in such accidents, and the financial strain of loss wages can be significant. If you've been injured because a driver was being negligent or was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you may be able to seek compensation to help you pay for medical bills or other needs you have in New Hampshire. This case is a perfect example of a driver who may not have made sure the roads were clear before pulling out in front of a motorcyclist, and that resulted in a serious motorcycle accident with multiple injuries.

According to the story, a pick-up truck pulled out in front of the motorcyclist, a 60-year-old man, while trying to turn left. Investigators reported that it was then that the motorcyclist collided with the vehicle, resulted in the motorcyclist's serious injuries. The report claims that the man suffered from head injuries as well as broken bones.

The news reported that the accident happened at around 2:26 p.m., when the 20-year-old driver of the pick-up pulled out. The crash, located close to Swings & Things on Route 125, was severe. A helicopter had to be flown in from the Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team, also known as DHART. That team took the motorcycle driver, who reports state may have been trapped beneath the motorcycle, to the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

As a driver of a motorcycle, it's important to remember your safety gear in case an incident like this takes place. The motorcyclist in the accident was not wearing a helmet, but he was not believed to have suffered from any life-threatening injuries. Three people in the pick-up truck were also injured and taken to Exeter Hospital, but this was only for a precautionary measure, according to the news.
