1 killed in 5-vehicle crash on Interstate 93

Paying attention when you drive is of the utmost importance, especially when there could be stopped traffic or upcoming construction zones. If a driver is speeding or moving too quickly to stop suddenly, then there's a risk that a crash could occur like in this case involving the death of a woman who was hit while slowing down on the highway.

This accident took place when a 50-year-old man was driving a Ford F350 quickly on the highway. He came up too fast on slow moving traffic on Interstate 93 south. He was unable to stop, striking multiple vehicles from behind. He struck a woman's Nissan Rogue, sending it into a roll before it left the highway. The driver of the Rogue, a 62-year-old woman from Derry, was killed.

There were three other vehicles involved in the accident including one being driven by a 67-year-old woman, another driven by a 25-year-old man and one driven by a 48-year-old man, all from Massachusetts. Police did not report if anyone else was injured in the collision. They have stated that impairment isn't expected to be the cause behind the accident, although the accident is still being investigated by the New Hampshire State Police.

While the story of this case hasn't been pieced together completely, yours may be different. If you know the reason for your crash or believe the other party is at fault, you may be able to start a claim against the driver. Doing this helps you get the compensation you need while you recover from any injuries you've suffered as a result of his or her negligence.
