| May 23, 2014 | Car Accidents |

A car accident can cause injuries ranging from cuts and bruises to spinal cord damage that takes year to repair, if ever. When you’re involved in a car accident, it’s important to make sure that you aren’t left without the compensation you need to take care of your health. When a negligent driver is to blame, you may be able to seek compensation that will help you or your loved one get the help you need.

Your case in New Hampshire could be similar to this one where a man has been charged in a car accident where four people were injured. According to the report, the man was arrested and now faces an aggravated DWI charge for crashing his pickup into another car near Tracy Lane and Derry Street on May 1. The accident injured three other people.

When the crash took place at around 8:40 p.m., emergency personnel responded and said they located a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck that had flipped onto its roof at the scene on Derry Street. The driver, a 42-year-old man, and his 39-year-old female passenger, were inside. The other vehicle involved was located down an embankment on the north side of Derry Street; a 40-year-old woman and her 11-year-old daughter were in the vehicle.

According to the news, the 42-year-old man and 39-year-old woman were taken to the hospital. Both reportedly suffered from serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. The police on the scene have reported that they aren’t sure if the two had been wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

The woman and her daughter in the other vehicle were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital with reportedly minor injuries. They were wearing seat belts, and airbags deployed in their vehicle, according to the news. Reports state that their vehicle was struck when the 42-year-old man crossed the street into oncoming traffic.
