If you’ve been hurt or lost a loved one in an accident, then you may have thought about taking steps toward seeking compensation. That’s fairly common when it comes to a situation where you aren’t at fault, and the money can be used to help you while you recover. The two people injured due to this car accident might be thinking of doing the same as you, because they both suffered due to an alleged drunken driver.

According to the report out of New Hampshire, one teen faces an aggravated DWI, because the police believe he ran into two pedestrians in Hampton, New Hampshire. The crash, which took place at the intersection of 13th Street and Ocean Boulevard, happened at around 7:05 a.m. At that point, the 17-year-old driver was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol when he collided with two people.

The two people who were injured included a 69-year-old woman and a 60-year-old woman from Hampton. They both suffered from serious injuries, and they had to be treated at the hospital. Initially, the 69-year-old woman was taken to Exeter Hospital, but she later had to be flown to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, for care.

The news reports that the 60-year-old woman was in stable condition following the accident. She was taken to Portsmouth Hospital for treatment. The 17-year-old man was not reported as being injured in the crash.

Right now, the police are still investigating the crash. They believe that the 17-year-old man was under the influence of alcohol, but they did not report his blood alcohol content to the news.
