12-year-old injured in New Hampshire car accident

| Aug 8, 2014 | Car Accidents |

Have you been involved in a pedestrian accident? If so, you know what this child is suffering through now. In New Hampshire, there has been an ongoing feud at the local New Hampshire Market Basket store. In the midst of a protest outside the store on LaFayette Road in Seabrook, a girl was badly injured when she was struck by a car. The injured person, a 12-year-old girl, had to be taken to the hospital. She reportedly had serious injuries from the accident but is expected to survive.

What happened at the protest? Authorities have been able to say that the child was sitting in the grassy area by the store near where people were protesting. At the same time as the protest, a car driving through the area of LaFayette Road lost control. That’s when the vehicle jumped the curb and hit the child.

The driver of the vehicle had to be taken to the hospital as well and treated for injuries. It’s been reported by authorities that the incident didn’t seem to be intentional. The driver has been cooperative, they say, and no charges have been files as of yet. The investigation has not been completed, so it’s possible that charges could be filed later on.

In accidents like this one, negligence due to looking at a protest or trying to speed through an area can lead to injuries and even deaths. It’s fortunate that no one was killed in this situation. If you’re facing a case like this one, seeking compensation and justice for your injuries is within your rights. You could choose to file a civil lawsuit from the at-fault party.
