Work injuries vary, New Hampshire sees a rise in deaths

From construction work to the fast food industry, everyone has to monitor and endeavor to work within safety standards set by the state. Workplace violence caused 17 percent of fatal work injuries

Workplace accidents happen all the time in New Hampshire and across the United States. There are many different types of accidents that happen at work that cause serious injuries and fatalities. However, one type of worksite injury may be overlooked by many companies and workers. 

Construction deaths increased last year

Workplace accidents are very common in the construction industry. Unfortunately, fatal construction accidents have increased in 2012, according to a new report by the U.S. Labor Department. Workplace fatalities have increased by five percent in the construction industry during the last year.
